Hey Mac, just wanted to comment on how much your last week’s piece struck me, what a BEAUTIFUL message:
“Our souls are heavy and burdened by our attachments as we labour in the fields of present-day life. We have scattered ourselves in every direction, and our attachments drag us hither and yon. We are unhappy and dissatisfied about money; name and fame cannot bring lasting peace. We have an opportunity to connect with the bliss within naturally through the meditative process.
Life’s rhythms intensify, diminish, and intensify again. Our challenge is in our ability to remain centred and unperturbed by the machinations of the mind, and its wanderings and desires. We work hard to earn our daily bread but ignore our inner self as our soul goes without nourishment and we end up distressed and fearful. By connecting to the love within with the help of a competent guru who has done the same, we can attain peace and contentment. After all, it’s about love, isn’t it?”
